I never thought it would happen to me, but it did! I ran out of gas on the freeway! And I fucken KNEW I had to get gas, I didn't have time on my lunch hour so I planned on doing it after work. But I was so preoccupied with my dinner, and I left late cause I was talking so long to the new receptionist, and so much other crap on my mind that I forgot to stop at the gas station. Right after I got on the freeway I felt my car slowing down, and I remembered about the gas. I panicked a little and pulled over right next to a call box. The guy got all my info and sent a tow truck out with some gas totally free of charge, and the guy only took like 15 minutes to get to me. I was so relieved, and so thankful for that roadside service our state has. I never knew they'd actually bring you gas like that. I thought I was going to have to wait for Jacob to come from Oceanside, and at that time I know he is barely getting on the freeway. Anyways that was a bit scary only cause it was already dark, and I kept having visions of a drunk driver side swipping me, or someone pulling over and murdering me or stealing everything I had. lol.
anyhow I finished buying the crap I need for Thanksgiving today. I went to Vons on my lunch hour, my work gave us all $25 Vons gift cards for thanksgiving, so I used that. We're having 2 turkeys, one fried (it's way jucier that way) and one oven baked. No Ham. I HATE ham. It's fucken discgusting, it's like you might as well be eating a bowl of salty lard. I am so ready for thanksgiving, and so ready for a 4 day weekend! Tomorrow is my friday plus payday! A double plus!
Looking online for a good recipe for macaronni salad. never made one myself, my aunt makes bomb macaroni salad and potato salad. I should just email her. I'm going to invite them to thanksgiving here.
Well i think my dinner is done, I made stir fry with a bunch of different veggies, with white rice. I'm never thrilled about cooking unless I know I'll like it.
Oh and we watched Madagascar lastnight. HILARIOUS! It had a lot of adult humor, and the penguins....aw man those penguins, they were so fucken funny. Everyone must see this movie.
Also rented the skeleton key and I don't know what else. okay well gotta go. toodles noodles.
