Since his death on the Plane, regular-human Oliver has gained an ability! While he maintains eye contact with a person, he feels the emotions that they are feeling. Info about this is also described here.

For forever_noble and maturelildevil: Oh yes they would! They're human, so they have nothing to stop him.

For bit_impossible and damn_time_ring: Possibly, but I imagine that since they're both Time Lords, they'd be a bit better at masking things so Oliver might have a more difficult time sensing things from them. Part of the whole mental block ability thing--unless their emotions are obvious or extreme, then probably that'll be the biggest exception there. That make sense? ^^;

You have so many characters! I am terribly amused that the Master is an open book. Then again, eye contact with the Master has other dangers...

Oh, it makes perfect sense. I just hadn't thought about it that way! That's kinda cool. If...disturbing. Murderous rage is not an emotion Oliver would want to feel >.>;

Oliver would definitely be able to sense Sirius' emotions, but for Damon and Nine, it's the same as Ten and Straxus -- he'd only be able to sense extreme emotions. And Nine's used to having an empath for a companion (Dorothy), so he'll try to keep his emotions in check if he knows Oliver can sense them.

Sounds good! We'll see how long it takes Oliver to even figure out this is happening in the first place.

Kuhn (silenteden), Marta (formervanguard) and Naminé (breathenothing) are all open books to Oliver. None of them have any special ways of hiding emotions or anything. Have fun~

Emil and Sirkka have special circumstances and I'll let you know if there's something that would block his ability.

Also try not to probe Emil too hard if the powers amplify; there's something deep and dark underneath his nice personality and you do NOT want to let it know you're there.
