Sean starts his last year of kindergarten
Sean finally starts school proper. This will be his last year of kindergarten before he goes to P1 next year. See how much he has grown from this?
So cute to see both brothers dressed in uniform - they are in fact wearing the same size! We sent them off on the bus together - I think Ryan was happy to have some company finally.
Sean seemed to have had a good first day. Pray he will have a fun and enriching school year ahead!
Alas, Ryan seems to be having a severe regression of sorts.
He has been whining about not wanting to go to school all day long. He said he wants me to be with him in school (which is not possible anyway because I have to go to work and parents are not allowed into the classroom block anymore). We have tried explaining things to him nicely and even bribing him with sweets and toys but this kid just does not let up easily.
This morning (his sixth day), there were a lot of tears. He refused to put on his uniform or have his breakfast. We had to carry him kicking and screaming to the bus. Sean later told me Ryan cried till he threw up on the short bus ride to school :\
He is still whining about not wanting to go to school now. We are just going to ignore him till Monday. Sigh, it's been a long week.
