Sean is the one who initiates our art and craft sessions nowadays. Usually with a very sweet 'Can we do something interesting, Mama?'
It makes me smile and no matter how busy or tired I am, I always try to accede his requests because I know one day, he would rather be doing his own thing than hang out with his boring ol' mum!
Anyway, we found ourselves stuck at home one rainy day so we tried our hand at making cardboard cameras.
We followed
Pam's instructions. Very easy to put together.
Both boys got to muck around with tape, water and paint (which Ry made a huge mess of) and half an hour later, we had our very own cameras!
When the rain cleared, the boys brought their cameras outdoors to test them out :)
Surprisingly, they have been getting a lot of play out of them. Just goes to show that sometimes the best toys are the simple, inexpensive ones!
PS. This is also a last glimpse of Ry's china doll bob. Sniff!
