Victoria in Winter
Before the photo's began we stopped for coffee at Starbucks and then at a used book store where a friend of mine works. By the time we reached our destination my Americano was finished but the day had just begun.
I'm so lucky to live near a coast.
And to live in a community where we can go to the beach in winter

On this day I ran into a good friend from high school at a local coffee shop. Her name's Jenny and she's an amazing artist.
Followed by a random encounter with a cow at the university.
The sunset was gorgeous.
Truly.
I couldn't help but smile.
Still, we are in Canada so the weather was cold. As this ice shows.
But not cold enough to keep most plants from growing.
It's nice to go for a stroll once in a while to admire everything I have.
And to have a little fun.
