for some reason, as i purchased the new addition to the maggie matson electronic family, that word kept popping in my head. bella. bella. it's such a beautiful word! and it means beautiful?! MECCA!
so the return of portable music will occur within 5 business days. i am sooo excited, the new ipod with color and video and photos....YESSSSS. i think i'll install a little bomb inside of this one, so that if it's stolen, it'll just blow up in the kid's pocket and severely damage any vital reproductive parts. vengeful? yes i am. and proud of it.
in other news...put up the christmas lights today with the bob matson. what a time it was. my dad, in his love of surprising my mom when she's least expecting it, put up some lights last night and then today enlisted my help in holding them while he stapled/nailed/cursed all of creation for inventing such a pointless holiday tradition. so we spend like, 2 hours putting them across the front of our house, more lights already than last years' measly one strand (bob wasn't feeling too into it last year). we finish the art of the extension cord, and concealing it so it doesn't look to ghetto across the front of the house. then, we plug them in...the WHOLE F'N FRONT doesn't word. bob's face begins to turn red. and then he gets a little pissed. then accidentally shatters a few bulbs, which is sweet, really. luckily we figured out why they weren't working, so half an hour later, the line of merry colored bulbs and the lit wreath were rockin the house. mommy was happy. daddy was proud of himself. so all is well in the matson house.
jens is still a man of few words. i need to crack that surface. or, he should just stop liking stupid ass girls. either one.
my absolute favorite person, extra-familial, is coming over tonight for dinner with his wife. jimmy is the best non-blood father, and also the most politically incorrect, endearing man who has ever been crammed into 5'3" of body. i'm really excited. but i should probably go change out of this ratty ol sweatshirt. i think it's circa 1979, Natrona County High School style. booyah.
ps. i totally mowed the rest of the stuffing. in this game, only the strong survive.
home.
