The show was much smaller and much better organized than SHOT. 90% of the useful info in 20% of the space. Media support was stellar.

Got to meet fellow bloggers, see my images used in about a dozen booths and as many catalogs, and handled a few interesting guns.

I’ve seen a number of theories that US depression would damage Chinese economy. Given the inferior good status of most of the imports, wouldn’t China and other makers of budget products win at the expense of Germany, Japan and other makers of superior or boutique goods?

I’d like to sell my 50/1.4 ($360 delivered within US) or trade it for 85/1.8. I find that I prefer to use 45 TSE or 50 macro for almost everything, while my 100/2.8 macro or 90TSE don’t quite work for low-light portrait work. My “mental eye” sees in 85-90mm angle of view anyway.
