Okay weird, there's a story at ontd_political about RWL having edited or written a lot of the Little House on the Prairie books, she was anti-New Deal. In the book Laura takes a teaching job to earn money to pay for Mary's tuition to the college for the blind. But in real life the government paid for her blind sister's schooling.
Apparently Rose Wilder Lane thought people who complained about being poor were just complainers.
For some reason I do not think I am getting across how I feel about this.
As for this system, we are in shock, I think. Because of a revelation about the Core of the system, she who we have always considered the base. Why else we're in shock I cannot speculate, but this seems to be the general mode of operation anyway, for all of us, or when we are in the body.
