Why I don't mind my commute so much

So as you probably know I spend about 2 hours getting to work and about 2 hours getting home. It's 62 miles each way. It's kind of shitty but isn't really all that bad because I work in Topanga, which is an absurdly relaxing place to be. Also, I work at my boss' house. He's got an office set up here that's slightly separated from the main house. Anyhow, I finally (after having worked here for the last 10-11 months) got around to taking some pictures of it today, so enjoy them behind the cut. Or don't, whatevs.

The view of the house from the street. There are so many trees around! It's cool, but also a little scary since it's almost a forest.

The little staircase I take from the steep-ass driveway to the house.

This is at the top of that staircase. There's a little bushy arch that you walk through. I'm always afraid there's going to be a big ass spider just webbing it up in there. But so far, so good. Spider count zero.

He's got a really large garden/yard area. It kind of reminds of a Secret Garden in a movie I haven't seen and am not even sure is real. There's a little fountain in the background over there. I should have taken a picture of that garden area surrounding the fountain, but I didn't, so suck it, yeah?

Little guest house out in front of the main house. It's got a cool little loft sleeping area.

Right when you walk inside. That there is Oscar, one of five dogs that lives here.

This is what Oscar could look at while chilling on that there couch.

Work stations. I work on the left there while my boss sits in that giant throne to the right.

I liked both pictures, what?!
