Media and the War in Iraq

I am reading an article title "The Media Falls for Conservative Propaganda -- Again" as I read this I just can't help but think about how when it comes to politics it feels as if I can not get any good reporting anymore. At the time of this post, I had been getting TIME for about a month, and from what I noticed there was a lot of articles anti everything Bush (which is the popular thing to do either side your on for obvious reasons) and what seemed to me to be a lot of pro hillary or obama articles. Each week had long articles either about one or the other or both talking about how well they were doing with this or that. Of course non of it had any real substance or reasoning behind it, but most of what I read doesn't have any real substance or reasoning behind it, its all opinion with very little fact to support it. This is why I'm so aggravated. I understand that I can't really trust what people are saying, "journalist" or not. But to me it seems that they should have a certain amount of facts included in their articles so that I can verify things and make up my own decisions. I just don't see very much of that.

I'm going to take a look at these blogs you suggested, although I can't see the videos here at work. From the little bit i've looked at it does seem that I should be able to find more verifiable information in these then in what I am currently reading.
