Rock and roll is here to stay?
Queue Gilligan's Island theme song: "...the weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed, if not for the courage of the fearless crew, the Minnow would be lost..." Ok so the weather wasn't really that threatening, but we did rock and roll quite abit last night. Forecast had called for about 5 meter seas and I think we may have exceeded that. While I was sort of trying to sleep, the tossing in my bunk was not of my own doing, one of the monitors in my office decided to do a swan dive off my desk. Apparently the rubber cement type glue used to secure it to my desk holds better on the desktop than it did on the monitor. I guess it probably was a good thing I wasn't in its way. So now besides being busy with lots of other stuff, I now need to see about replacing the monitor. (By the way, I do plan to at least hit the highlights (low lights?) of why this trip has been insanely busy, but still need to make an extra day or two for my hours first.)
Well, I should start my work day now, more to come sometime...
