Birthdays And Boredom!

"But that's just me,
i'll be stumbling away,
you keep saying that life is OK.
Say after me,
it's no better to be safe than sorry."

Ok, so our rather short midterm break kicked off last night, and turned out to be excellent.

Yesterday was Sherry's twentieth birthday, and us folk up here on fourth floor decided to plan some things out for it. We managed to convince the owner of Big Bens into allowing us to do a bit of decorating, and we all headed down there for much beer consumption. Everybody seems to have had an excellent time of it, and many of us were completely soused, myself included. Sherry seemed to enjoy it as well, so much so that she doesn't remember much of the latter part of the night. Also, though she spent the day with her mother, who is leaving for home tomorrow, most of that time was spent praying to the porcelin gods. Good times must have been the case last night!

I awoke this morning to a killer headache, and everybody being gone. There must be around twenty people left in the house, and while some are on the sauce again tonight, I myself decided to avoid such peril. As such, I'm bored out of my mind, with video games and my constant musical searches only doing so much to relieve the boredom. Hopefully the rest of the break isn't like this...though I can see myself getting quite a bit of studying done if it is. Probably won't be that quiet though, especially considering one of my fav persons is coming in tomorrow. Diana should hit St. John's sometime tomorrow, and much fun should be had by all...can't wait to see her again, its been a while.

I know for sure that we will be doing a Big Bens/O'Reilly's open mic combo on Tuesday night. Most of the people left in the house are going down, and some folks are coming back early to join us. Should be a good time, and will be my first time downtown for a while. Also talk of going to Jungle Jim's and Dooley's tomorrow night, though I think I might try to see a movie instead.

Anyway, that's all for now. Hopefully this current bout of boredom will quickly subside.
