House Hockey And My Two Nights Out.

"OOOOHHHHH OH,
think i'll write a screenplay!
OOOOHHHHH OH,
think i'll take it to L.A.!
OOOOHHHHH OH,
think i'll get it done yesterday!"

Ok, so house hockey started up for Curtis house last night, with our team being a combination of players from our own house and Bowater. This year we have pretty high hopes for our team. We have an excellent goalie from Bowater, and some really amazing players on our team. It didn't quite start out with the bang that we anticipated, but it was still a good game all around.

We started with a game again the Hatcher/Rothermere/Barnes team. They proved to be quite good, scoring an early goal in the first period, as our players seemed to be skating around with their heads cut off. It wasn't until the third period that our team started to show some skill, potting a goal and actually playing as if they wanted to win. I was particularly impressed by a player from Bowater (Power, a friend of my roommates), who was really really good and always in the play. Now if only Woody can step up his game, we should have a good chance of contending. The game finished with a one goal apiece tie, something we can definitly improve on.

Dave, Tony and I decided to hit Open Mic afterwards (something we had done before the game had started), but by the time we got there the performances were over. We ended up heading to a friends house and didn't get home until around four in the morning. Needless to say, I was dropping and headed quickly to bed.

Tonight was much more laid back. The plan was to do nothing, but that rarely works out here in residence. I dropped down to Dave's room and found Tubby and Tommy plotting without Dave in sight. Dave was supposedly off to a presidents meeting, and the boys planned to rearrange his room whilst he was gone. Of course I decided to help!

We quickly set about transfering items from one side of the room to the other. Within twenty minutes we had everything switched around, moving the contents of all his drawers to opposite sides of the room, and swapping the contents of his two closets. We also swapped his couch and bed with each other, and even went so far as to move his posters to opposing sides of the room. It was fucking sweet!

Unfortunately, Dave's meeting didn't take place, and as we were about to change the curtains on the two windows, we heard his keys jingle in the door. He knew something was up, as we seemed a bit on edge as he came in. It took him a few minutes, but when he went for his cigarettes in one drawer only to find them in the opposite one, he quickly realized the extent of our rearranging scheme. He sat their for twenty minutes not saying a word as we tried to convince him that it was all Tony and Parcon's fault. It was absolutely priceless!!

A few of us hit Big Bens down in the square after, but I wasn't really there for long because I want to get up for breakfast tomorrow morning before I head to class. So, I'm off to bed, as I really need to get some sleep.
