It's been slow here at work so far.

Last night’s visits by kids in costume must have hit an all time low for us.  One visit, two Trick or Treaters, a ballerina and a goblin, escorted by an older sister in costume who refused any treats.  I had the kiddies dig in for extra goodies since we have so few visitors, which made them happy.

We had a quiet New Year's Eve.  My big accomplishment for the day was to finish reading Dune.  One of the great science fiction classics.  I also managed to get Fanghopper's XM radio securely mounted to the vent ( Read more... )

One of the things our friend brought down for Thanksgiving were three cans of topping for ice cream or cake, weighing in t 6 pounds 10 ounces apiece.  Now even with 20 people at the Thanksgiving dinner, can they consume 19.87 pounds of topping ( Read more... )
