Weather Station
Since the rain gauge on the weather station is having difficulties, I went and purchased a wireless rain gauge and set it up.
The new one is made by Oregon Scientific and has screens on the bottom and a removable screen across the top to keep junk out, unlike the LaCrosse model.
The new rain gauge works just fine. The only thing I have to do is set the time so that its day begins at 7 am for Fanghopper’s rain readings. It also has a 7 day memory which is kinda cool.
Now that I have the new rain gauge, the LaCrosse weather station rain gauge is working fine. I suspect it is now jealous that I got another rain gauge. Silly instruments!
