Oh hey, I should post to this thing.

We bought wedding invitations! I think that means we're getting married. Sarah bought a dress too, so that's another good sign. Our next big thing is deciding on a location, which we'll hopefully do over Thanksgiving. I think I mentioned this before, but we're looking at Silver City, July 2012. We thought about trying to get everyone out to Seattle, since there's so many nice locations, but it just didn't make sense. Instead we'll likely do some wedding-related event(s) out here to try to get NM folks to visit and save the Seattle crowd a trip if they prefer. Who had any idea getting married was so much trouble?

I've taken way more time than I wanted to working on Dungeon World and Powers for Good stuff, but that's all out the door now, should be available next week. Now I hopefully have some time for videogames and stuff.

Speaking of games, Lord of the Rings LCG is basically my new favorite game ever. Mostly because it's Magic, but playable with one player. If you haven't played I highly recommend it. 1-4 players play together as heroes undertaking quests between The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. The first cycle of quests is mostly about finding Gollum. Oh yeah, the quest cycles: since it's a LCG, there's addons, but instead of randomized boosters they're non-random "Adventure Packs" that each contain new cards for your deck, a new hero, and a new adventure. Since the adventure is kind of like an opponent, it's like buying a new person to play against any time you like. Really rocking.

I have way too many good videogames right now. Batman is my primary focus. Skyrim will wait, I mentioned it to Sarah as a gift option so I may be playing that later on. Modern Warfare 3 is the big question. I can't decide if that one is on my gift list or if I should just pick it up, since I'm pretty sure we'll be doing multiplayer nights soon. Tough call.
