GIRLS WANT SEX JUST AS MUCH AS GUYS DO!!

How incredibly happy am I that the character of a teenaged girl said this during a tv show targeted to teens?  SOOOO HAPPY!

It's incredibly cheesy, I know, but GLEE geniunely makes me squee like a little girl!  This show just makes me happy, full stop.  After "Golddigger," I am a full-on Matthew Morrison stan, and Lea is my new tv girlfriend.  (Back off, bitches!)  I'm slowly coming to see the Rachel/Finn chemistry, but for now my love for this show transcends ships.

After seeing the pilot in May, I knew GLEE was going to accidentally my life.  I had no doubt about the perfection of Ryan Murphy's new show (IMHO, of course,) and September could NOT come soon enough.  But as much love as I have for the Pilot ("Don't Stop Believin' " will forever own my heart,) the Season Premiere delivered so far beyond my expections!

The music, the black humor, the balance between the adults' sweetly forbidden attraction and the kids' sexual tension - with the added bonus of teenaged "social class" bullshit?  GAH!!  The premiere pulled together each complettely believable plot line, used badass musical numbers to seamlessly transition from comedy to authentic pathos, and  let individual characters shine so brightly that this episode worked on every level.  I adore Jessalyn Gelig's insane Terri, while hating her for manipulating Will.

Coach Sue can do no wrong, of course, because Jane is an undeniably comic genius.  Case closed, arguments invalid.  Jane Lynch OWNS.

music, fox tv, happiness, sexuality, glee
