1. My children got into honor society.  Simon is entering with the national junior honor society kids.

2. Katie is in national elementary honor society.
Сеня в постарше, Катя в помладше


3. Just as they sat down, they got to stand up 
И как только они сели, сразу встали.


5. And go light their candles 
и пошли зажигать свечки


6. Induction 
Типа присяга


7. Pledges and such 
Что будут молодцами и умницами


8. Meanwhile the elementary kids wait. 
Младшие ждут


9. But not for long
Но не долго


10. Katie actually seeks me out, unlike some boys i know 
Катя на меня смотрит, в отличии от некоторых мальчиков.


11. Another girls mom took a picture of Katie from up close 
Мама подружки прислала фотку Кати поближе


12. And after all the pomp, they get to get up on stage 
А теперь идут на сцену, за грамотой


13. And shake the principals hand 
И пожать директору руку


14. Katie as well 
Катя тоже


15. And again, she cares about me! 
И опять на меня смотрит, зайка моя


16. And just like that, it is over. The flower is for me, by the way

18. Allie's former family has sent her duck breasts as a gift. She likes!

19. We named him Cole, and he doesn't mind the dog at all.  
Мы его назвали Коул, созвучно coal(уголь)


20. A giant sloth is something that apparently we don't have enough of, I would've thought otherwise! 
Дети почему-то считают что огромного ленивца нам не хватает, как будто у нас дома их мало!
