So here's this old pairing meme that I dug up and redid for Naruto! AND I LEARNED HOW TO PUT IT UNDER A CUT SINCE I DID IT, WONDERS NEVER CEASE~
Six Pairings I Like:
1. Itachi/Anko (BEST PAIRING EVER THAT HAS NO BASIS IN CANON EXCEPT THEY BOTH LIKE DANGO, AHAHA)
2. Sakura/Sai (:DDD I love crack)
3. Naruto/Sakura (It's going to be canon. I can sense it. But cute anyways, and I love most combinations of Team Seven.)
4. Karin/Suigetsu (Abusive snarky love. :D)
5. Ino/Chouji (!!! Subtext, it is there! Plus...no reason. They'd be cute and squishy.)
6. Tsunade/Jiraiya (*sniff* T_T)
Three Ships I've Abandoned:
7. Sasuke/Sakura (Sasuke's too far gone, and Sakura has gained too much self-esteem since he left.)
8. Itachi/anyone but Anko (lol, crack is addictive...)
9. Iruka/Anko (see above reason)
Three Ships I've Never Liked:
10. Itachi/Sakura (ARGH HULK SMASH RARGH)
11. Kakashi/Sakura (It squicks me.)
12. Kakashi/Iruka (There is no basis for this. Y U DO DIS, SHIPPERS?)

*sigh* I explained this in another meme. Basically, I just can't see it in either of their characters, and the age difference turns me off.

Since I was listening to songs for inspiration for one-shots, heard Kill All Your Friends, by MCR, and had my brain generate Itachi/Anko. Every other pairing with only one of the two died in my eyes.

Itachi/Sakura. I have yet to see one that is characterized correctly and plotted well. You all SUCK. Whereas the Kakashi/Iruka shippers are all going crazy after chapter 420, and I just don't feel like raining on their loser's day parade (person who gets the song ref gets three internets and a pony).

KarinSasuke and SakuraSai. So much of the whole "showing off my bf/gf in front of my ex" going on, it would be awesome. And then the underlying echoes of old SasuSaku would be hot and make me like the ship again. And then Karin/Sai could go on in the background, since they both like calligraphy. ^^

He ges over his whole "atonement by assisted suicide" complex and returns to Konoha, where Anko can be his Seeing Eye wench. And then they live happily ever after. Dammit, I can't unbold this, how fail. LJ, you suck.
