my god, what have they done
Okay so I haven't been here for a while. I've been busy. But today, I must write. I'm very upset. I feel like my country has been hijacked by Republicans. I tried. I got involved. What happened? When did our country turn so conservative? I shudder to think what will happen in the next four years. The supreme court justices. The Patriot Act. The repeal of abortion rights. The continued squeezing of the poor. Gay rights squashed. Stem cell research ended. The environment slowly ruined by ATV vehicles and bigger and bigger SUV's. No research for alternative fuels. And war, war, war and other countries hating us more and more and more every day. God, what is happening? I never thought it would come to this. Why are so many people blinded by advertising? Did they not listen to any facts? Why why why? I can find no rest in my heart. I gotta go write a damn paper.
