And they told me I don't need to worry

Major discovery of the day: McDonald's Mexican Salsa hot sauce goes really well with KFC's Hot Chicken Wings. ♥

Anyway.

Had a nice outing with four girlfriends on my birthday to the Cheesecake Factory and ended up wandering around a shopping area to walk off all the stuff we ate (only had 3 appetizers and a pasta to share amongst all 5 of us (though I had a peach smoothie as well), but we barely managed to finish and still felt like we would explode - AND WE WERE TOO FULL TO EAT CHEESECAKE! D: Oh well). Then, after a sidetrip to Pinkberry, we joined the family for dinner at a Chinese restaurant and had (some sort of fruit/pudding) cake! :D

My dad ended up giving me his old cell phone (well, it's old because it's been used, but not for very long) as a birthday gift, but because he bought it in China, its phonebook is configured so that last names go first. So far, I've manually converted about 100 entries and still have just as much to go. =_=;; But it's got a nice and bigger screen than my old phone, so I cropped the ridiculously hot August Myojo photoshoot that Arashi did for the phone's background wallpaper though I'm almost afraid to use Aiba, Sho, or Ohno's pictures for fear of my parents staring at me funny xD;;;. The current ringtone is the first chorus of "Step and Go", while Ohno's "Purururu purururu SIMPLE SIMPLE" clip is the tone I'll hear whenever someone text-messages me, heh. ♥

My old piano teacher gave me one of those dolls that can't be knocked over in the shape of the Beijing Olympics water mascot Beibei. The weird thing is, you can yank Beibei's head off and extend a pen out from underneath her! It's ridiculously addicting to knock the doll around simply because it'll never fall over, and it's just as hilarious to pop off Beibei's head because it makes this gigantic CLACK sound when I do it. :D I am obviously very easily amused.

Today, I went out to eat dinner at a Japanese-style restaurant (that had TEMPURA GREEN TEA ICE CREAM ♥!!!!!) with a bunch of people from my high school newspaper, including our adviser. It was supposed to be a get-together of former and current editors but somehow got turned into a belated birthday celebration as well xD;;; Then we went bowling, with our adviser throwing out random bets as incentive to play well (though it didn't really help me as it was the second time I had ever bowled, the first being 10 or so years ago). I did manage to snag a buck because I got a spare (the first and only that I managed in two games).

And then tomorrow, an aunt that couldn't make it to the dinner on my actual birthday is taking me out for dinner.

...this is a lot of celebration for such a numerically insignificant year, hahaha.
