I never thought about how much STUFF you actually need to move out on your own and furnish a place.
That, and how quickly it all adds up.

The dining table, coffee table, end tables, and odds and ends are coming from IKEA.
A good chunk of our kitchenware is coming from our parents.
The couch doesn't exist yet. Until then, we have a futon to use.
I splurged on a fancy coffee maker so that I can rid myself of the Dunkin Donuts addiction. Spending $20 a week on coffee and bagels is insane.

We're taking my bed. His dresser. Both of our new tv's. My dvd player. His playstation and xbox. My sega genesis to keep old school alive. My IKEA chair. My desk. He needs a new one. My goldfish Adam (he's still alive after five years.) My Pier One chair. His microwave. My television stand. His dvd racks. I run lists in my head of what we need to buy, where I can get it cheap, and where the hell is it all going to fit.

I have two major presentations to give and three major papers to write for grad school before December.
All I can think about is whether we'll get a real Christmas tree or a fake plastic one.

My work is moving up to Andover the same week I'm moving back to Wakefield.
After that, I'm not going to ever want to move anything again.

Someday, I'll be back to standing still, and not having my mind run in 5000 different directions.
