There is still too much alcohol in my blood right now. Not good. I'm in Broward...my last work day up here...the drive was nice. I'm going to miss these drives up here. So anyways, Gilda, Camilo and I went to the Ghetto Grove last night and got fucked up...oh I'm paying for those blue long islands! But, we had a good time. Of course Camilo had an awesome time...he was with 2 hot girls! hehhe ;P I ran into an ex-friend from high school...Lourdes...at the club. I was so glad to know she was neither married nor have children. It seems everytime i run into anyone from high school it's the same thing..."Oh I'm married and have a daughter or son.." something like that. It was good to know I'm not the only 26 year-old from my graduating class that's hasn't succumbed to that social convention. I mean, sure I'll probably marry some day...maybe have a kid...but c'mon...in your 20s? No way! Maybe in your 30s. Then again, Marilyn has a pre-teen. She's neither neglects her daughter or herself. She's admirable.
Speaking of admirable women. The Discovery Channel has nominated Oprah in the Top 25 Greatest American competition. She is a "an inspiration to millions" and the first African-American to make Forbes magazine's list of billionaires in 2003. She also became the first woman in history to own and produce her own talk show. But is she greater than lets say...Thomas Jefferson, Albert Einstein, Henry Ford, the Wright Brothers? Ummm...did I miss something? These guys are inventors! Yes, Thomas Jefferson was in fact an inventor (

So, why is Oprah on this list, again? Granted she has influenced women and apparently men as well, but the Greatest American? Also on the Top 25 we have a boxer, a woman who said no more to the back of a bus and a comedian. So if you care who gets to be the Greatest American go to this page:
