I have a weirdly intense coworker who will be played by Steve Buscemi in the movie of my life. He and I don't talk much to each other, even though we're both smokers, which tends to bring people together. I can recall two actual conversations with this guy in the seven-or-so months that I've been working here, even though he sits on the same row of "modular offices" (that's what we call cubicles in America, thank you very much) as I do. The first conversation was about how he used to roadie for Cheap Trick, and the second was about how he'd decided to "stick it to the man" by wearing suits on Casual Fridays.
Anyway, he just stopped by to tell me that I always have the greatest books. Of course, I am currently reading a Tesla biography. Then we talked about how tesla coils are awesome. His eyes got as big as cliches and his voice got really, really loud when he described how one of his friends from California has one of the coils that was used to make the original Frankenstein movie.
I love bizarre people.
