even still, everton gets paid butloads more
on sunday, me, kevin, his cousins, and his parents went to the everton vs. club america game. club america is a mexican team, and everton is an english premiere(sp?) team.
the stadium was full of mexicans, there were only about one-eighth of the people there going for everton, us included. we were sitting really close, the third row and had an awesome view. so i took the opportunity to take some awesome pictures with my digital camera. i got some good ones, but its hard to take action photos. and the stupid mexican fans in front of us kept standing up, even though they could see perfectly sitting down. i mean, they were in the first and second row for crying out loud! i got peeved.
also, in the halftime game, they spoke nothing but spanish. that mad me quite mad. we ARE in the united states, not mexico. oh, and the guy that sang the mexican national anthem forgot the words halfway into the song. it was funny. all the people from mexico booed.
but the stupid mexican team won, 3-1. the refs were also mexicans, and they never called anything against club america. everton sucks. plus everton almost finished last in their premiere, so its not like a big thing that club america won. oh yeah, and the thing they won was called "copa de tejas" and usually only like mexican or latino teams play. they made it up strictly for mexicans to be able to win something.
