girl i had to get my phone out the second my planes landed last weekend bc of family tragedies etc, they wouldn't have liked the sobbing they would have gotten if they had tried to get me to turn off my phone when it would no longer be interfering with anything.

not that alec baldwin has ever been one to be dramatic...

it totally is. i was on a flight (although i don't think we were that close to taking off) and a flight attendant had to tell me to turn off my phone multiple times. but i had a word with "J" that i could put on a TL and a TW and i wish i could have explained that to her. so i feel for alec.
