Saoirse Ronan takes a walk down memory lane as she rewatches scenes from her classic works including 'Atonement,' 'Lady Bird,' 'The Grand Budapest Hotel,' 'Hanna,' 'Little Women,' and 'Blitz

I still need to watch the whole thing, but Saoirse watching the clip from Lady Bird... my heart. I love her and that movie so much.
My favorite role/film of hers is either Little Women, Lady Bird, or Brooklyn. I know it's cheating, but I can't really choose - love her in all three.
She's good in both Blitz and The Outrun, but I wish she was campaigning for better movies. The former was bad, and the latter was good, but not one that's begging for a rewatch.
The only problem I have with Lady Bird (as someone that was in a Catholic High School in the early 2000's) is that she had pink hair and that shit WOULD NOT have flown back then. Doesn't even matter that it was a soft pastel pink, if it was unnatural it was NOT ALLOWED.
I love that even when she’s in bad films, she’s never bad. But I wonder if she really thinks the scripts are good or if she does them for fun because she isn’t picky. She works steadily and I can see her having a Nicole Kidman career where she does lots of different genres because she loves her job.
I watched some interviews with her for The Outrun and I think she’s just not a cinephile and doesn’t know what to look for in a script. Someone else needs to help her pick what movies to be in lol. But I agree with you, I think she’ll always work steadily so eventually she’ll chance upon better scripts.
Yeah, she’s a good actress, but I guess in her spare time she doesn’t watch movies lol!
which is fine, I always remember how Marion Cotillard is one of the best actresses of her generation but when they asked her what her favorite movie was she said the Justin Bieber documentary. 😭
I'll never quite understand the Briony hate. She's such a fascinating character, both in the novel and the film, and Saoirse Ronan's portrayal was striking.
Unpopular opinion, but I found her character the most interesting part of the novel, I didn't really care about the "love" story aspect of Cecilia and Robbie.
