I've tried to like Ateez. I think they are tremendously talented but their vocals and production don't suit my ears. There's a vocal tone that I find a little grating :'(. I feel so bad lol because I really wanted to like them :/

The Ice On My Teeth music video is gorgeous and they all look amazing, but the song, lyrically, is a mess like...tennis rhyming with tennis.

lol i haven't listened to the song... just been enjoying the gifs on my timeline. hahahaha. Ateez's music isn't generally for me which is fine. But they're hot so I will enjoy the eyecandy.

OH ALSO I meant to ask you. Have you seen the videos of Vernon in the blond wig at the concert on Sunday? lol. Vernon was FEELING himself. Also also, ok watch the last like 30 seconds of this week's Going Seventeen for some quality Vernon content.

Did you see the picture of Seungkwan facing all the Carats with the blonde wigs as if he's meeting his 10 of his twins for the first time?

LOL YES Seungkwan's reaction to the blonde Carats killed meeeeeeee. That is the concert I was at, so I was in the audience LOSING it at the whole thing. His face when the Carats ripped their wigs off was so funny. He was SHOOK.

The fancams I've watched from that show were insane, so MUCH happened lol.

Next time! I hope Hybe books more dates because this tour seemed short and condensed, which seems exhausting for them :-/

I have very little faith in Hybe to put together a good North American tour, lmao. They basically did the same for TXT this past year. 5 cities with 2 shows each done in like 3 weeks. Soooooooooooooo yeah. My expectations are basement level. But maybe they'll prove me wrong???

Even as an atiny I'm cringing about the lyrics. It took me less than 5 minutes to come up with a better rhyme. They've got Maddox on the producing team whose English is native level, please tell me why he didn't do anything about this?? But it's not the first Ateez song (and certainly not the first kpop song) to have weird English lyrics, at least they make sense grammatically and are enunciated clearly lol.

I'm not familiar with Ateez and only know like 4 songs plus the recent comeback - but something about them, I feel like I should stan lol.
Do you have recommendations on songs I should listen to, so I can get to know them better?

Don't mind me jumping in, but I prefer The World ep 2: outlaw of all their albums/mini albums. It has Bouncy which is a great catchy song and the one that got me into them. And the first song, This World is really good. Golden Hour 1 and 2 are both hit or miss I feel like.

Your feeling is correct! lol. Ateez has done a lot of different genres so favorite songs can differ a lot from atiny to atiny. But some quintessential ones are Pirate King (debut), Hala Hala, Say My Name, Wave, Wonderland, Answer, Inception, The Real, Fireworks, Deja Vu, Halazia, Guerrilla, Bouncy, Crazy Form, Work - basically all the main title tracks (they used to have fans vote on 2 songs from an album to choose a title, and the one that didn't win still had an MV but wasn't promoted quite as much; they haven't done that since the Fever series). My two absolute favorite titles, and songs in general, are Answer and Halazia. Answer is the song that made me an atiny, and Halazia is a masterpiece
