i honestly feel like they peaked with hype boy and their songs keep getting worse. how sweet was the only good song they released this year and it still pales to their previous releases

For me it was ditto and it's been downhill from there

How Sweet was the only one of their 2024 songs that I truly liked.

But yeah their 2022 and early 2023 releases were way better and if NewJeans leave, they won't have rights to those songs anymore. Will the general public love a NewJeans called something totally different that can't perform Hybe Boy, Ditto or Super Shy? Maybe! If they can get some new bangers, but the releases this year do not make me optimistic for them.
