This statement is not the full statement, they want MJH back as the head of ADOR/producer.

i just dont see that happening, although i would be thrilled to be wrong since i think newjeans is really fun and i dont think they should have to give up a dream because the adults are fighting

I’m terrified to say anything definitive post-election so I guess I’ll just say I would be surprised for Hybe to go “she’s made this entire year miserable but because you say you want her back, sure. Let’s set that precedent. I’m in.”

I’ve never seen a C-suite not go scorched earth on the people who piss them off and make their lives harder. But it’s 2024 so maybe!

They offered her a producer position, but Hybe is NEVER letting her be CEO ever again. And MHJ cannot abide that. And therefore the members cannot abide that. So they are lighting their careers on fire for her.

She didn't want their original offer because they could unilaterally fire her for anything without reason and the term was like 2-3 months. After NewJeans' live they made another offer to her, simply extending the term as producer for the lifetime of NewJeans' contract with the SAME shitty clauses she didn't want to sign onto the first time.

A lot of people blame her for not going back, but no one is under obligation to sign a shitty contract just to make other people happy.

she's been involved with them from the very beginning and iirc handpicked the members. she even talked about having sleepovers with them. their relationship isn't exactly normal tbh. i can see why they're desperate to work just with her bc it doesn't seem like they formed relationships with anyone outside her bubble in hybe

Grooming. They believe they cannot be successful without her. She's made them totally dependent on her. It's actually quite sad.

If I had to pick between:

Hybe - openly talking about banishing me, sexual assault reports against male execs, seen with escorts and OF girls,
BSH didn’t want Danielle in the group in the first place because she looked ~foreign, didn’t like Attention and thought it would fail, source music wanted Minji to drop out of school, etc.

MHJ - has a 7 year plan which the girls know about and collaborate with, give them breaks, parents support, not forced to go on extreme diets, have input on music

Hmmm I can see why they’d go with the lesser evil.

Also you guys keep using grooming but their parents are around and support this. They’re not isolated and are going along with this

i mean its like that saying, abusers dont just groom victims, they groom allies as well

i feel bad for them either way. a cold company that seems to want to destroy them, or starting from scratch who knows where while being crushed by debt to said company

IA the things that came out of HYBE scandal show it to be an extremely toxic environment. They’re covering up deaths by overwork ffs. Ador was probably more of the average toxic work place in comparison

Yes, they want both her and their main video producer/director back. This is after a court said that Hybe was well within their rights to fire her from the CEO position. I'm not sure how Hybe could meet this demand if the girls aren't 1000% sure they're out.
