A previously cut clip of Britney Spears talking about the conservatorship in 2016 on the UK "Jonathan Ross Show" has emerged.

It is the only time Britney ever mentioned the topic

Yeah I’m confused by that too. My understanding is she was placed under the conservatorship in 2008 and this interview is 2016.

I think maybe that was a way of referring back to Femme Fatale, which was released in year 3 of the cship? (Which tracks because I definitely remember her seeming very flat at times in that promo/tour. It made me wonder if her meds had been adjusted, because some psych meds can leave you feeling kind of emotionally numb)
