No, stadiums are much larger. Capacity for 50k, 70k, 100k.
Arenas are smaller 10k- 25k capacity. They are also indoor while stadiums are open air.

i feel stupid for just assuming they are the same thing but i feel like its a very sports-related term (like there are dozens? hundreds? of football stadiums in the US and i dont think that many in canada) so i have just blacked out that part of knowledge

arena is where you'd see a hockey game, stadium where you'd see a baseball game. nothing we have for football or soccer is even close to what they have elsewhere.

also if she did a stadium tour she'd have skipped montreal bc the olympic stadium is a pile of shit
