This is legitimately gross. I am glad he can escape this and move on with his life but…I don’t know. I feel incredibly done with SM.

He didn’t do anything wrong. Sending funeral wreathes is horrifically toxic, and now it’s been rewarded. Stop apologizing to these people.

The whole “you can’t have an opinion because you’re in the West!!” is bullshit too, this is nasty bullying behavior and you don’t have to be local to see it.

I hope he lives a lovely, happy life. He deserves it.

Who the fuck thinks sending anyone a funeral wreath while they're still living is appropriate? Not just the expense, but how fucked up a person do you have to be to even do something like this?

Kpop fans do this shit way more than you'd think. It just usually doesn't work.

Esport fans even more unhinged. My brother who is into Esport said they even brought it to the hospital where a player were staying.

People need more fucking shame. Shame is healthy, shame keeps you from being horrible people to people. This is shameful behavior.

I read what you said in the last post and I agree entirely. This is so disappointing, on the part of the company and the fans (Korean fans in particular).

To me it's not even a cultural issue. This is being a cruel piece of shit just because you can.

this is the thing i continuously think about in all bad fandom behavior (including non k-pop (e.g., swifties)). seriously, where the actual fuck is the shame?? where is the embarrassment?like even if i had a crush on an idol/celeb and got disappointment they were dating it would never even occur to me to @ them on social media cause that'd be too embarrassing for me to even fathom doing. like that shit dies with yourself or, at absolute max, in the dms of a friend. not in public forums on the internet for the whole world to see. and that shit definitely does not come into the real world by sending billboard trucks or funeral flowers like a goddamn weirdo ( ... )

the fact that this behavior was rewarded with these fans getting what they want will set a horrible precedent for all other kpop idols but especially sm idols. this was a stupid move on sm's part. someone in the industry is going to have to grow a pair and start putting fans in their place because this behavior is not sustainable

YG sucks for a million reasons but i appreciate that their response to dating scandals is just "idk bro it's none of our business"

You know, I was going to say that agencies have really created monsters, but it's all over, isn't it? People throwing drinks and phones at celebrities, demanding people meow or call them mommy in fan calls, being angry and abusive when someone declines taking a picture. I don't know what the fuck happened but this shit has got to stop. People do not belong to you. People do not exist for your entertainment. You don't get to end someone's career because they dated a girl in high school. I'm so frustrated I can't tell if I've even made my point, I'm just shaking my hands at my screen all angry because I'm over it. I've seen toddlers treat their toys nicer than supposed adults treat people lately.

I'm gonna take a break and play Zelda and pet my cat.
