Oh fuck her and the bullshit she's spouting. She has repeated so many damn lies about October 7th and conveniently uses that as some kind of out for the horrific genocide. Not to mention the rape claims were debunked months ago https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/how-2-debunked-accounts-of-sexual-violence-on-oct-7-fueled-a-global-dispute-over-israel-hamas-war as were the claims of beheaded babies. You know who has been killing babies? Fucking Israel.

Oh and it's wild how instead of, idk trying to make this thing end and actually securing votes, she would rather move further and further right and be best friends with the republicans. I'm fucking sick of the way dems and liberals keep trying to reach the middle ground and sway right wing voters by sliding and further and further to their side until it will devolve into full on fascism.

There is a whole documentary about sexual assault during october 7 attacks (Screams before Silence). I don't think anything has been "debunked" .

Eta: i agree about annoyance re dems obviously making a calculated decision about a platform that would appear to more centrist voters, but then also scapegoating more left leaning voters for drifting away.

Like, you think this will get you more voters than you will loose! It is not those other voters' fault.

The racist propaganda about mass rape on October 7th has absolutely been debunked.

BREAKING: New detailed report from the Times of London admits there is no evidence for the "mass rape" hoax fabricated and spread by the NYT, BBC, Guardian, AP and Reuters, and notes that Patten's own UN report confirms this and reiterates her call for an actual UN investigation pic.twitter.com/GI0EzaPXJq

There were many many victims, and if a small number of reports do not align with evidence (which includes things like " her brother said she was NOT raped") i will still believe all other victims. There were at least 2 UN reports that did confirm rapes, and i thought NY times article (and documentary i mentioned) had more than enough evidance.

It is NOT racist to believe victims and think that men WILL rape if they know they can get away with it.

The Patton UN report did not confirm that there were rapes and that NYT article has been thoroughly debunked. It is absolutely racist to perpetuate lies that are used to dehumanize Palestinians and justify genocide.

buried on page 15 in its 23 page "report", the UN's Pramila Patten admits that all her information comes directly from the Israeli regime, and that it blocks UN agencies with an actual investigative mandate from doing independent investigations into their propaganda claims pic.twitter.com/5MhygkWLCg

after admitting there's no evidence of rape in the videos and photos handed to them by the Israeli regime, she admits she has to rely solely on "positions of bodies and clothing", which she admits earlier Zaka hoaxers constantly moved around, and "testimonies" by the same hoaxers pic.twitter.com/2p5Xqbg5h8

Literally from that UN Report:

The Commission faced several challenges in its investigation. In relation to Gaza, the Commission’s ability to reach out to victims and witnesses was limited, due to the continuing fighting on the ground and major communications disruption. In relation to Israel, Israeli officials repeatedly publicly announced Israel’s refusal to cooperate with the Commission’s investigation. Israeli officials reportedly barred medical professionals and others from being in contact with the Commission after it approached medical professionals in Israel in December 2023.

The Commission has reviewed testimonies obtained by journalists and the Israeli police concerning rape but has not been able to independently verify such allegations, due to a lack of access to victims, witnesses and crime sites and the obstruction of its investigations by the Israeli authorities. The Commission was unable to review the unedited version of such testimonies. For the same reasons, the Commission was also unable to verify reports of ( ... )

There are many many other accounts in that article, and i can think of multiple reasons why a family may not want their dead daughter/sister becoming a poster child for "horribly raped and mutilated victim," some of which have nothing to do with what actually happened.

There is literally no other victim named in that article, nor has any victim or any credible witness come forward in any of the UN investigations.

Zaka is an absolute racist joke and their lies have been debunked in UN reports. If you find “One continues to rape her, and the other throws her breast to someone else, and they play with it, throw it, and it falls on the road,” Sapir said at all credible, I don't know what to tell you.

The sister of the alleged victim would not be able to comment on all other instances of rape discussed. The biased and misleading language used by zei_squirrel makes me view them as less likely to have access to and ability to analyze evidence than NY Times journalists.

Finally, as someone who witnessed sexual violence before, and someone who immigrated to US from what is now a war zone, i am have no problem believing any of the accounts in the article above.

Lol yes, let's check in on the NY Times journalists:

if I told you that the New York Times hired a recently graduated college student with only a couple prior articles written on the subject of food and cooking to be their lead on the ground "reporter" on the "mass rape" hoax they fabricated, would you believe it? That's Adam Sella pic.twitter.com/1YW8PmsOqE

I don't expect you to admit you are wrong but sharing the below thread for other commentators to show how credible the "witnesses" in the article are:

While much of the NYT "mass Hamas rape" report relies on innuendo, it also purports to contain several credible eyewitness testimonies. One was ( ... )

"reasonable grounds" based on what?

Reply

melancolour October 13 2024, 00:31:28 UTC

the rapes on october 7th have not been "debunked".

even just the wikipedia:

[trigger warning]The UN's Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict, Pramila Patten reported in March 2024, with the "full cooperation" of the Israeli government,[12] that there was "clear and convincing information" that Israeli hostages in Gaza experienced "sexual violence, including rape, sexualized torture, and cruel, inhumane and degrading treatment", that there are "reasonable grounds" to believe such abuse is "ongoing"[13][14] and there was also "reasonable grounds to believe that conflict-related sexual violence occurred during the 7 October attacks in multiple locations across Gaza periphery, including rape and gang-rape, in at least three locations."

The Patton report did not have any investigative mandate and did not find any evidence of mass rape on October 7th. I would encourage everyone to look at the report itself.

now this conclusion, buried late in the piece, directly contradicts the entire "mass rape" atrocity propaganda hoax fabricated by the New York Times' Jeffrey Gettleman, Adam Sella and Anat Schwartz, with their claim of a "systematic Hamas policy of rape".
