Welcome to the results post! There were a total of 67 nominations, over 2,860 poop reactions, and over 520 participants. From 67 nominees, down to 20 finalists, in the end, only one villain will rise to the top.
Let’s start with the dishonorable mentions. Your 4th Runner-up is currently a fixture in the news for getting arrested on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and more-receiving 3.6% of the votes, it’s the disgusting and diabolical [click to reveal]Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs! Tied for 3rd Runner-up are two vile men of different generations. One is despised for being the poster man-child of overcompensating losers, wealth inequality and irresponsible billionaires, the other was a corrupt politician whose oppressive government policies left a lasting negative impact to the American way of life. Both getting 7.5% of the votes, your 3rd Runners-up are repulsive megalomaniacs [click to reveal]Elon Musk and [click to reveal]Ronald Reagan!
On to the Top 3! Receiving 9.4% of the votes is an evil goblin whose sinister and calculating nature promoted disheartening doubts to victims of domestic and sexual violence-our 2nd Runner-up is…
Depp, 61, is an American actor and try-hard musician who is famous for his film and television work, including “21 Jump Street,” “Edward Scissorhands,” and the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series.
Depp has had reputed issues with alcohol and drug use over the years, which some felt enabled unprofessional behavior on film sets and public events. A Rolling Stone interview depicted him as a drug-addled trainwreck who is difficult to work with. Depp has been involved in high-profile legal battles, particularly with his ex-wife Amber Heard, including claims that he was physically and verbally abusive. In leaked text messages, Depp fantasized about murdering his then-wife, “I will fuck her burnt corpse afterwards to make sure she’s dead.” He referred to Amber’s body in disgustingly misogynistic terms, “mushy pointless dangling overused floppy fish market”. The details of the allegations were absolutely horrific, including Depp forcing a bottle on Amber’s genitalia, ordering his doctors to give Amber a cocktail of sedatives to calm her down upon “nagging” him to stop his drug and alcohol abuse-done without Amber's knowledge or consent. Many people believe the accusations, while others still support Depp to this day, no thanks to an allegedly elaborate and effective smear campaign that Depp and his PR team spearheaded against Amber, to force a narrative that they were equally both abusive in the court of public opinion.
Receiving 20% of the votes is an individual many consider as a clear and present danger to us all. A true scum of the earth, the embodiment of just about every thing that’s wrong with humanity-our 1st Runner-up is the reprehensible…
Trump, 78, is an American politician, media personality, and businessman who tragically served as the 45th president of the United States from 2017 to 2021.
Many disagree with Trump’s controversial policies on immigration, healthcare, and climate change, viewing them as harmful or regressive. Trump's rhetoric and communication style, often characterized by insults and inflammatory statements, have drawn criticism for being divisive and unpresidential. As a billionaire, Trump is often seen as out of touch with the struggles of average Americans, leading to resentment about his background and lifestyle. Now a convicted felon, the former twice-impeached disgrace continues to face ongoing legal challenges and investigations that test his affinity with falsehoods and fabrications. His perspective to issues such as social justice movements, gender equality, and racial tensions have polarized an entire nation with many feeling he has exacerbated divisions. He is well-known to villainize immigrants and people of color to rile up his conservative base and inflame tensions. Critics argue that his administration rolled back important protections for women and their reproductive health. Multiple women have come forward to accuse Trump of predatory sexual behavior. Behind the scenes of a television appearance, he was recorded on a hot mic saying, "I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything! Grab 'em by the pussy. You can do anything." Trump has also been quoted saying, "You've got to deny, deny, deny and push back on these women. If you admit to anything and any culpability, then you're dead. You've got to be strong. You've got to be aggressive. You've got to push back hard. You've got to deny anything that's said about you. Never admit." Trump has also weakened environmental protections, contributing to climate change and ecological degradation once tweeting, “It's really cold outside, they are calling it a major freeze, weeks ahead of normal. Man, we could use a big fat dose of global warming!" He is widely believed to have acted in missteps upon missteps during the global COVID-19 pandemic resulting in a lot of confusion, conspiracy theories, and hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths across the country.
It was an almost impossible task picking one out of so many horrible people to choose from. However difficult, ONTD has spoken and a decision has been made. So without further ado, our Ultimate Villain™ is none other than...
The weaker gender. Stealing the title by a large margin, with 42.2% of the votes, ONTD declare men are officially the absolute worst! Opting to crown a group instead of an individual, ONTD’s Ultimate Villain™ is roughly half of the world’s population. Fuck the patriarchy!
Most men benefit from societal gender roles and are proponents of toxic masculinity in all parts of the world. They continue to enjoy the privileges of the patriarchy that they have established since the dawn of humanity. Some men adhere to harmful stereotypes that promote aggression, dominance, and emotional suppression, which can lead to negative behaviors. High-profile cases of violence against women, often perpetuated by men, contribute to negative perceptions. Many women and marginalized groups experience inequality in pay, discrimination, harassment, or dismissal in various settings, often at the hands of men in positions of power. Cultural norms sometimes encourage negative behaviors in men, leading to issues like bullying, sexism, or entitlement. Many countries around the world continue to oppress women and their rights. For example, Afghanistan ranks among the highest for gender-based violence where, along with neighboring Pakistan, honor killings are widely prevalent although illegal-35 out of every 100 women are exposed to violence at the hands of their male partners.
