I enjoyed this show and Angel Investigations is more believable to me as a friend group than the Scoobies (yes, even with Wes' betrayal of Angel).

They really royally fucked up when they sidelined Cordelia and made Fred the female lead. Getting rid of Lilah was also a mistake, and I strongly dislike the inclusion of Spike in the final season. Season 5 could have been SO good with both Cordelia and Lilah being series regulars.

Charisma Carpenter being a Johnny Depp supporter is so disappointing. I still fully support her against Joss Whedon, obviously, but I had to unfollow her after those weird IG stories she made 2 years ago.

Bringing back Liliah for the S5 premiere only to basically swap her out with Eve was such a massive downgrade.

They brought Lilah back in the season 4 finale, she wasn't in season 5. But yeah, Eve was a downgrade. Seeing her with Lindsey reminded me of the good old days with Lilah.

Eve was the worst. Her character sucked, the actress didn't play her convincingly, and her presence seemed pointless because Lilah could have been delivering those messages.

Absolutely, from what I remember they only got rid of Lilah because of the budget cuts for season 5, but geez they should have just paid her what she was worth, I remember pretty much the whole fandom being unanimous on how much Eve sucked as her replacement.
