i knew as soon as this hit ONTD people would come up with excuses for this. there were a lot of men who said that the search felt violating and that moc were treated even worse than the other men. this is not how you protect anyone from assault and allowing venues to do this, esp in the UK which is extremely hostile to trans people, is even worse.

Thank you. I don't even know what to say to people who think detaining and questioning people based on vibes is a reasonable security measure. People are absolutely going to make racist, ageist, ableist assumptions about what a 'real fan' looks like and what a 'pervert' look like.
