this is so beautifully put and completely relatable.
truly the most unexpected thing to come out of the past year has been macklemore of all people turning out to be this eloquent and being one of the only celebrities to stand with integrity. like i really would not have put that on any bingo card but i have simply gotta hand it to him.
Uh... I believe he wrote I don't think I'm alone, which is true. His anger toward what's going on with Palestine is definitely not only him experiencing it.
Edit: oh I see the not in one of the paragraphs now.
Third slide, end of second paragraph says "I don't think I am not alone." I read the whole thing twice and there are a bunch of places that are straight up confusing. I am autistic, so maybe it is me, but I cannot see how this could be described is eloquent.
Our definition of eloquent could be different. But yeah, I see the "not now" but obviously, that's a typo. His statement is still very thoughtful and express what a lot of people feel so 🤷♀️
eloquent in the sense of "vividly or movingly expressive" in a way that is touching and persuasive, which i found this to be. even if there are places with typos or imperfect wording, i was still really impressed with his powerful phrasing and how authentically the post rang.
Are you a zionist and just trying to discredit his entire post, or are you just a word nazi and think ONE typo in a 9 slide statement renders his entire message as "ineloquent"???
given his repetition of "I don't think I'm alone" throughout all the slides, i think it's safe to say the inclusion of "not" in that specific instance was an accident. i'm not gonna dismiss the importance of his message based on a typo.

Read the entire post, and calls in ineloquent due to a single typo...
I think I like it better when ONTD DOESN'T read, lol
