I was obsessed with this show, have the dvds for the 3 seasons and everything. The revival ruined any nostalgia I would’ve had for it. What they did in the finale was so unnecessary especially after that fanbase basically financed the movie they made.
It's crazy seeing how an entire 12-year fandom crumbled to the point of extinction over a revival season. I get it but the revival could never take away the magic and love I had for the original.
Also, much like our childhood and our teen years, revisiting the same people and worlds with adult eyes is always going to reveal the ugliest truths in the things we saw with rose colored glasses. Twin Peaks did this is so marvelously, obviously Veronica Mars didn't intend for this but it had a similar effect
