My expectations were next to nothing and I was still shocked how bad this is. Between the airbrushing and her lack of charisma, it’s just a complete mess. The only photo I like is the casino one and it’s because the people in the back make it. Hugh also looks bad.

She brought all four of her kids to an interview at a restaurant, had them literally sing and dance around her, sent them back to their hotel, and then:

I tell her I’m not going to mention her kids in this piece, and she says oh you can mention them. “Sitting around with them doing chicken dances while I have a very serious conversation with you is probably the most accurate portrait of me possible."

So you trotted out your kids in order to get the writer to talk about what a Fun Mom yet Serious Actor you are. Got it.

I see what they were going for, but subtle homage is not something Baz Luhrman excels at. The only shot where it really feels like Baz Luhrman Does To Catch a Thief is this one:

I recently did a Bones marathon and the episode The 200th in the 10th was a much better homage to Hitchcock than this.

The photos are terrible. They look like they were pasted in with terrible placement. It's super janky.
