Blake Lively is the cover star of Vogue's September issue - and not everyone is happy about it!
The shoot was directed and photographed by Baz Luhrmann for the magazine's lauded September issue. "I'm a very shy person, so I don’t like doing photo shoots, really. Because when I'm acting, I'm playing a character. And I don't…I don't feel super comfortable in front of a camera. It's part of why I don't want to be in magazines." she told the magazine.
But not everyone loved Baz's creative direction. Some people panned the visuals while other people criticized the choice to put her on the cover.
"Honestly sooo tired of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds's constant shameless self-promotion. They are both c-list actors but parade themselves as much more. It’s quite baffling," one user wrote.
"Blake is fine but she's not all the words this person is making her out to be. Movie star? Are you sure you don't mean white and blond?" wrote another.
