I start a movie on my desktop PC then move to my laptop when it's time for bed, or if it's serious viewing, I go watch on my 55" inch TV with the soundbar and backlights, and if it's bathtime, I enjoy a nice bath bomb and my phone.

I could go on and on but desktops are better all around. The home computer needs to make a comeback!!! fixes many of the issues people have with social media - it’s pretty easy to take breaks when it isn’t accessible 24/7 - and you can also upgrade it yourself or take it to someone locally. It isn’t made to be obsolete in 2 years. It really is in investment and you can learn how to care for it with everything out there!

my husband and I both have good rigs. I game a lot so I need one - not a fan of console since I'm terrible with controllers.

Same. I find navigating most things on my phone extremely tedious compared to desktop. I don't know how people stand it, I feel like the mobile apps for most sites are laid out in such an asinine and inconvenient way compared to desktop browsing. Is this what it feels like, getting old? (I turned 30 this year lol).

It makes no sense! Why would people CHOOSE to watch shows on a tiny screen?!

Yup. So many websites look horrible on phones - like idk how anyone does any shopping on a smartphone, those websites are buggy AF. I have a laptop instead of a desktop but either way, I prefer an actual computer over a phone for browsing.

same! desktop is the only way i can comfortably do anything. i have a lenovo tablet that i actually really love but i mostly use it for reading, schoolwork and mobile games. i occasionally use the browser on it and i regret it immediately because i cannot imagine scrolling the internet without adblocker. plus i'm still using an iphone 6 and it can't even hold a charge while charging atp so i literally only use it for calls/texts lol

Yeah I get ad-free watching or torrent stuff to watch on my desktop and big monitors. Why would I watch it anywhere else.

I literally only use my phone when I'm on the go. I cannot imagine voluntarily choosing to squint at tiny text on a screen with annoyingly itty bitty buttons over desktop browsing. Like, browsing Reddit on desktop? Easy peasy! On mobile? Literally even BREATHE erong and you've just accidentally minimized the whole 200-comment thread you were just reading, forcing you to scroll down nine million trillion times to find your place lol.
