can't believe i woke up this morning to this mf caught in another lie 😭 according to his 'apology' statement he "fell while parking the scooter in front of [his] house." this is very much not that! i honestly think this wouldn't be blowing up in his face quite so badly had he and big hit not fumbled those statements to such an extent.

i have nothing to say about human garbage seungri other than i hope he [redacted]

According to a tweet posted down thread, this CCTV footage isn't actually Suga. The linked article has gifs potentially showing what you described (him "[falling] while parking the scooter in front of [his] house"), so. Hopefully the truth wins out in the end, but for right now it's not looking good either way.

we'll just have to wait until actual police statements come out because hybe is notorious for feeding information to media outlets to downplay various incidents and controversies. they do this every time; it always works and the stans eat it up. the fact remains that he chose to drive drunk illegally and my opinion of him remains even lower than it was after the jim jones incident.

Idk im lowkey waiting for someone better than a random twitter person to disprove the og jtbc footage, cause given korea’s libel laws you’d hope a national news outlet would verify that shit. And also surely hybe would’ve immediately disputed the footage which I’ve not seen them do?

This is confusing but I’m choosing to district the clearly insane standom.

that’s where I’m confused because hybe didn’t dispute it, but rather they backtrack from their original apology as soon as the cctv was released. it’s not adding up.

r/kpop is running away with this narrative now and saying “we’re gonna get some good agust d out of this!” I wish there was the equivalent of the associated press in SK because these conflicting reports are wild. like where are the official police reports so we can have something definitive about this reported.

also, like he still drove a motor vehicle while drunk - what’s not clicking?!

/r/kpop has made me pretty frustrated with their treatment of discussion on this topic. They let 10 anti-MHJ/NewJeans threads go wild with only posts people report being *sometimes* removed and BTS fans just trashing the group and spreading their crazy theories and calling anyone who questions HYBE's case delusional/stupid through thousands of comments, while one Suga thread gets locked after a day because of "incivility".

And yeah, I find the whole ~debunking of the first two clips kind of dumb - all the two incorrect ones and this new accurate one were showing is he drove a scooter drunk and he fell over. I don't know why any of his fans think this new video somehow makes him look better.

yeah the NJ/MHJ situation pissed me off. I even left a comment there shaming them and the users for their bashing of those young girls and I’m pretty sure it was screened because it remained at the default 1 upvote. like it didn’t even get downvoted, which I suspected it would, so I figured they were just screening anything that wasn’t outright hate training NJ.

it’s clear the mods there are bts and hybe stans which fine… but the way they let that bleed into what gets pushed and allowed on the sub is insane. these are GROWN ASS MEN and yall protect them more than young women, some of whom are still underage. it’s insane.

the new clip really means nothing to me and I agree with the other comment here that said it’s weird that with sk’s libel laws that hybe didn’t immediately condemn the jtbc video to be untrue if that’s the case. there’s no way they’d let that slide if it wasn’t actually yoongi.
