I can’t believe how sick of Blake lively I got over the last 2 weeks. Overexposure doesn’t usually bother me but I think bc of her pointless and ugly haircare line and trying to make a DV movie look romantic and cutesy, she’s at BEC level with me now and forever

Question, as a woman of color I try to understand these types of racism. Would you call it racism if a white couple overlooks the historical journey of another race because the location is so ~dreamy for a wedding? It's white privilege for sure and I understand racism comes in different forms and it's structural and embedded in our day to day society.

I guess I'm asking is it racism or is she being a selfish ignorant white woman?

What's the difference, just because her - their, he probably agreed with it - racism wasn't intentional doesn't mean it wasn't a bad decision

por que no los dos? white people don’t take chattel slavery seriously. to me it’s like deciding to have your reception at the anne frank house. or having a confederate flag themed wedding bc the design speaks to you. technically not as blatantly awful as having it in front of graves, but it represents so much death and despair… how can we look at either of them the same way

I have a feeling that within a month their contrived American sweetheart couple facade will be forgotten about. At least I’m hoping that will happen. If we have to spend a couple weeks having to see them everywhere while we are on our way out of the darkest timeline, I’m okay with that.
