Halle and Olivier wanted to move to France and Aubry (Nala's father) didn't want them to move and take her. Allegedly it resulted him Martinez taking Aubry to a part of the property without cameras when he returned Nala one day to try and push him into it and when he refused apparently ended up beating Aubry to the point he was hospitalised.

Martinez later alleged Aubry started it, but his lawyer took pictures of his hands to show he had no bruising and hadn't thrown a punch.

I dunno, but she had her daughter Nala with Aubrey, who she had a good relationship with and co-parented pretty happily with (it seems there were pictures of them together with her after they had broken up) until she got engaged to Martinez and they wanted to move to France with Nala.

She now has her son with Martinez who is seemingly causing issues with her new partner and her son bonding. If she is having the same issuse with Aubrey and Nala bonding with her new partner she's not saying it, so it seems the issue there might have been Martinez.

Not outing it, but all of that seemed to come after Martinez was in the picture and doesn't seem to have happened since.

No, she and Aubry were pretty contentious over the co-parenting as well. But she was with Olivier pretty much immediately after she and Aubry split.

She accused him of making racist remarks about her and their mixed child, and chemically straightening their daughter's hair. He denied her accusations. The court determined neither parent could chemically alter the child's hair, but she seemed to lose pretty consistently otherwise. Had to keep paying child support, could not move, etc.

ONTD was pretty against Aubry. Some eyebrows were raised when Olivier got physically violent with Aubry, but a lot felt it was just him "sticking up" for Berry. Now that Olivier's split with Berry has been so ugly, people are rewriting this with him as the problem all along. Which maybe he was.

Honestly, I don't know. She was adamant that Olivier was a loving partner and amazing stepfather, until she wasn't. Now a similar situation with Van Hunt. I just have no idea.

That's what I was thinking too, the common denominator here is Halle Berry. She seems to have a problem with all her exes having rights to their kids and not being the sole deciding parent.

Yeah the racist remarks was when she was trying to get the judge to grant her permission to move the France (she lost) and the hair thing was I'm 2014 (when she was married to Olivier who was annoyed Gabriel had joint custody cos they lost the aformentioned case).

Before that there are pictures of her and Gabriel swinging Nahla between them when they weren't together.

ONTD were very heavily on Olivier's side even when he beat him to hospitalisation but honestly ONTD don't think Rachel was selfish to want to go to France with her daughter in Friends so I assume they thought Aubrey was unreasonable for wanting his child to be across the Atlantic.

That is when she first claimed that Aubry made racist statements and had mental problems. She gave an interview discussing how she believed in the "one drop" rule, and her daughter was black, while her friends and anonymous sources made the claims about Aubry's racist behavior to the press. Years later, the court documents were unsealed and reported on her specific claims to the court about racism and incest. She petitioned the court to move to France in February 2012, and was denied in November

Right and she started dating Martinez in 2010 and divorced him in 2016. All that you've mentioned was while she was with Martinez.

The child support payments aside all the accusations she made about him were in the time where she and Martinez wanted to move to France.

Capping the child support etc I don't think was ever about how he was as a father but how he spent the money.

But she did not, as you felt, co-parent peacefully with Aubry until she and Martinez were engaged and wanted to move. Their ugly fighting came pretty swiftly on the heels of their split, and her accusations of racism and mental illness came a year before she petitioned to leave the country. Her court documents also include accusations about Aubry being cruel during their relationship and their sex life being reduced to three times a year. Her complaints were not confined to struggles after their split. She specifically talked about his behavior as a partner and father while they were together, well before Martinez entered the picture
