I don’t think you’re being dramatic at all. He has created an environment where has access to minors, and can slink around in the shadows. He weaponizes his name, (shaky AF now but less so then) reputation, and audience to shut people down. He thinks people should struggle because he had to. And his ego is achingly fragile. He is a perfect storm and should have been shut down a long time ago.

I remember his brother cutting ties with him, but when trying unsuccessfully to google your comments on misgendering, it appears they have reconciled. JC posted a TikTok with him in April. But yes - JC remains gross.

Yeah, I hold strong that Tati was right about the root of the JC's issue. After his response video, she got flamed to hell and back for homophobia, because she accused him of flirting with straight men. But she was always so clear that the problem was that he was hitting on people who made it clear they did not share his sexual interest, and he was trying to use his celebrity and wealth to cajole them into accepting his overtures. He was always seeking power imbalances and trying to exploit them.

And JC and (I think it was) Thomas Halbert both acknowledged Tati privately discussed this with JC before and told him he needed to stop. But they didn't think she was "that serious." As though your friend having a discussion with you about you inappropriately using your power to manipulate people into sex is just a regular not-a-big-deal convo that friends often decide to have.
