I hate cilantro. Every time I mention it ppl ask me if it’s bc it tastes like soap, which is so annoying. NO ITS BC IT TASTES GROSS

Do you know if you have the genetic variant that makes you a cilantro hater? lol. Many people who have the variant don't describe the taste as soapy, rather like dirt or vomit.

I don’t know, but it doesn’t taste like dirt or vomit to me. It tastes fragrant, like I imagine cilantro is. I just don’t like it.

I can only tolerate avocado in bite size form, like in sushi, or smashed to the point of it being really smooth lol

I can’t do raw onions anymore in my old age. And coriander is so damn strong. It’s an overwhelming flavour when I want to taste the other flavours
