They definitely need a change of judges. Paul Hollywood is so up his own arse and Prue is just an innuendo monster. The challenges too seem far too advanced and out there. They're truly missing the ingredients that made it originally great in the BBC iteration.
ITA - I wish they would clean house and start over with new judges and hosts.
And yaaaaas about Paul being so far up his own ass. mean, he was always obnoxious even in the early seasons with the silent glaring and asking the bakers rhetorical questions, but now it's even worse with the stupid Hollywood handshake being viewed as the pinnacle of GBBO success.
I was laughing and shaking my head during the Mexican episode when his qualification was saying, "I just got back from Mexico." I much prefer The Great British Sewing Bee, where they bring in an expert when the theme is non-British (last season they had a special judge for West Africa week and this season they had a special judge for India week - I really wish they had done the same in S8 when they had Japan week).
well it used to be the great british bake off until i saw the mexican episode and went wow
they really have no good cuisuine in Britian do they if they don't know what to do with an avacado
now i just rewatch youtube vids
like somecallmejhonny he's really good
but i also rewatch netflix's daredevil
