"My Lady Jane" aka The Horse Show

I stumbled upon this show while looking for something to watch while eating (the only free time I usually have), and it was so funny, hot, and interesting!

Lady Jane Grey, the main character, is forced to marry a man who transforms into a horse at dawn. There are other people who turn into animals and are hated by the royals, so naturally, Jane's husband hates himself and wants her to cure him. She agrees to cure him in exchange for a divorce. But things get blurry (read: steamy) and very complicated along the way. This is for fans of "The Great," but here the love interest isn't a terrible person, so it's easier to root for the couple. They have incredible chemistry, and you should definitely watch this show. All side-characters have storylines too and each one is unique and fun!

"Extraordinary" aka Weirdos with Superpowers

Lady Jane Grey's best friend from the show is the main character here. Her name is Jen. She lives in a world where everyone gets a superpower when they grow up, but Jen still hasn't gotten hers, so she is ready to do WHATEVER it takes to get it. Along the way, she adopts a cat who later turns out to be a man and they fall for each other (he was a man first, don’t worry). The show is funny and outrageous, with characters having the weirdest superpowers ever, which makes for a fun watch.

"Ghosts" (US version) aka Dead Weirdos

The main character, Sam, falls down the stairs, and when she wakes up, she can see the ghosts that live in the mansion she inherited. Her husband can't see anyone, so she's the only one that can communicate with them which makes things both awkward and funny. The ghosts are from different time periods and all have their own quirks. We have a former stockbroker with no pants, a Viking who loves cod way too much, Sam's great-great-great-great-aunt who loves cocaine, a flamboyant Prohibition-era lounge singer who was murdered, an initially closeted gay Continental Army officer who died of dysentery, a hippie who got mauled to death by a bear when she tried to hug him, a socially awkward travel agent who died when a kid shot him with an arrow through the neck, a cynical Lenape man who loves gossip, and a bunch more new ghosts that appear at different points in the show.

There's also a UK version of the show (the original). It has fewer episodes and a slightly different tone, but I liked it too.

"The Great" aka Enemies-to-Lovers, Literally

When people mention enemies-to-lovers ships, they often refer to misunderstandings or misconceptions that eventually get resolved. However, this show takes a different approach. The characters, Catherine The Great and Peter III, are genuine enemies, starting off hating each other and trying to kill one another, yet they end up deeply in love and struggling with their feelings. It’s a toxic relationship, but the show’s ridiculous, funny, and outrageous tone makes it work perfectly.

This is arguably Nicholas Hoult's best role to date (he plays Peter). Oh, and it’s also hot.

"Miranda" aka Such Fun!

This is an older show, but it still holds up. I watched it recently for the first time, and it was so funny and weird. The show revolves around Miranda, a socially awkward woman struggling to meet her mother's standards, as she navigates life determined to be herself despite the judgments of others. She's in love with her hot childhood friend, who you all know as Lucifer Morningstar before he was Lucifer Morningstar. This show does the friends-to-lovers trope so well and so wholesomely.
