it banged. I was 10 or 11 apparently when it came out. As a little girl forced into Christianity, I remember going to confess to my mom that she called herself "sexy" in the opening song. Mama must've been in a great mood that day, because she told me that I must skip that song, but that I can keep the album.

me too, it felt like the perfect follow up to let go for me - like little pre-teen me was on the bus listening to la la while the bullshit swept on around me. jessica was cool, ashlee was subversive, and i was an ashlee girl (usernilescrane in 2004)
